Gisagara Volleyball Membership head coach Laurence Yakan Guma has parted methods with the staff as a result of private causes after guiding the staff to a fourth-place end within the 2025/26 season.
The event was confirmed to Occasions Sport by the membership’s Secretary Normal, Edmond Gatera.
A former Rwanda nationwide staff participant who later transitioned into teaching, Yakan joined the Southern Province-based facet forward of the 2025/26 season after spending time in Japan pursuing his research.
“We’re in search of a brand new coach to take over the staff on a long-term foundation, and we are going to announce him quickly,” Gatera stated.
Yakan returned to Rwanda in August 2025 and instantly took cost of Gisagara VC. Forward of the season, he strengthened the squad with the recruitment of center blocker Ronald Muvara, setter Sylvestre Ndayisaba, and Venuste Gatsinzi.
